Quick question on Isosport nylon topsheet material...
I just got a Isosport nylon topsheet printed by Miller that's going on a deck soon. First time I've used this material. Question is do I need to flame it like Duravision before layup?
Thanks, -D

Thanks all, You guys are tough but I would expect nothing less. Fixed the link in my signature so it works again, rotated the pics and I'm working on the text. I'm not a web designer, just a board builder so one step at a time. More to come so give it another look in while, in the meantime... pray f...

Thanks Twizz, I want folks to know that I'm using a vacuum press but Ill change the language a bit so it talks it up. Good heads up, that's the feedback I was hoping to get. For our 2nd annual get together, how about we shoot for Mid December? They should be in full operation by then (fingers crosse...

Anyone have a favorite runny/high viscosity resin that post cures at 180F or less? I use Tap Plastic's Marine grade resin, it works really well in vacuum pressing. Low VOC's and plenty of work time makes it the resin of choice for me. A little expensive but a good all around epoxy. Haven't had any ...

Ill probably get trashed for this post but here goes.... Ive found its not so much about the pump power but rather the seal, I use a cheap 2 stage from Harbor Freight and have pressed probably 40 decks on the thing and still keeps going. I get 29 in/hg out of it and I use an aluminum sheet on the bo...

We've done it a few different ways and I prefer the camber to be setback a bit 20-30mm but I also like the surf feel (for snowboards). If your going after more of a park setup than I would go with camber centered to the sidecut. Never tried one with the camber pushed forward. Would probably force yo...

Here's my 3 cents.... Q1; I use SnoCAD as well but not for my camber. I do that by what seems right when I'm setting up my press (I have a adjustable vacuum press so its easy to change to what looks/feels right) ***And I know a compression press is better and Ill get there someday, hopefully when I ...

Thanks Gav. Appreciate the advice, I like the 5 point idea better than 7. I'm using SnoCAD to design it and they do have a 5 point option in the software but it asks how deep you want the serrations. Ill take Chrismp's advice as well and go check out a few at the shops to see how deep others are goi...
