Heating Blanket and Controller, single ski, $250
I'm selling a heating blanket with the temperature controller. The blanket was made by MEI. The controller is set up with one switch for the power and up and down arrows on the PID to control the heat. The box also has a ground wire inside it so you can attach that to your press frame or aluminum sh...

We had mold then uhmw then ski then another uhmw sheet then the blanket and hose. I have a sheet of aluminum tha...

Hart F17
http://picasaweb.google.com/snagcliffs/HartF17# This is a pair of mogul skis I used last year and ended up breaking. I decided to cut them up to see what was inside. Thought people might appreciate seeing it. They performed very well on ice and groomers but weren't the best in softer snow. They also...

Sickbird Skis
I made my first pair of skis around two years ago and then took a long break due to a lack of motivation and someone to work this. This year I'm living in Tahoe with my friend and started making skis again. Here's our first two pairs. The dimensions are 129-139-119, 185 cm, 10 mm reverse camber. The...

Various plastic questions
I just finished my first pair of skis (look for a journal soon) and am currently looking into the materials for a second. One of the things that I have been working on is trying to find a source for Polyamide 12. I noticed that Kingswood uses this material for their topsheets and after some research...

More Heating Questions
I am in the process of putting a heating set-up together and have my own little set of question. Firstly, the circut heating system will be about ten amps. This may seem like a dumb question but do I only need a ten amp fuse for this or should I go higher? Also for the switches, it looks like Big Ka...

bolts
Mike. I noticed you bolted your press together and am planning on doing the same. My first question is how did you put the holes into the beams for the bolts to go through? Can a drill press do this? Also, for anyone who can answer, it looks like this press was held together using 32 1/2" grade...
