I'm planning to use 50mm of MDF with some channels for vacuum hold down. I've seen some of the guys on here use some rubbe...

Great video and picture Deep! Really inspired to have a go at making my own revision of one of these. I'm curious though, what's the bearing on the top of the box section for?

I'm about to build one myself (for snowboards), and came across this the other day: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wbj...

Daily progress

worked during the day and yesterday evening. Cutting and threading the threaded rod turned out to be a bigger job than expected, got things going in a semi production run style towards the end :). http://i1240.photobucket.com/albums/gg493/vacsnow/jigs/threadedrodinframe.jpg http://i1240.photobucket....

Also included some abstract shots of the top half (currently under a vehicle hoist). The jig itself should let me pr...

planer crib

Feed it into the planer slowly, set the height up so its only cutting 2-3mm of wood in each pass. Decrease the height with each subsequent pass.

Hi all, Been reading for the last couple of years, thought it was time to give something back. Obligatory logo concept: http://i1240.photobucket.com/albums/gg493/vacsnow/savage.jpg More details on the build: Will be constructing a fully adjustable camber/rocker jig. This should enable me to build a ...
