I have a grindrite st600. Im achieving a great finish going though all the grits and then finishing with a scotchbrite belt. I get little ripples on a few of my belts for some reason. I made a hot box, used a heat blanket and it works perfectly!

Anyone see a reason not to use one of my heat blankets as the heating element for a wax hot box? Insulate the box, put blanket on the bottom, set to 140 degrees for two hours, boom! Thoughts?

I bought the same machine last spring and I'm still getting to know it. What doesn't make since to me is the auto feed roller is only utilizing the rubber roller instead of the platen. Can someone explain? I don't have that round bar over my platen, does that have something do with it? Thanks!
