Calibamboo they have 1/2in 4 by 8ft sheets of plywood it is where we get all of our wood from. It saves so much time not having to laminate planks

crown takes to long, we sort of dropped the ball on the order now we are between a rock and a hard place. just located edges so i am only looking for sidewall and a couple meters of Red base material

i placed a couple rows of .5in thick bamboo strips stacked 2 high between my cattrack and hose. it solved the problem

prevent core shift during layup

It is my first time attempting to put inserts into a core. i am curious how you guys are able to prevent the core from shifting at all during the layup. i have been using a home made casset jb welding aluminum bars to the aluminum sheet on the mold. this works fine but there is about .5-1mm of shift...

i have 2 routers 1 working. both are fix based. i had a VERY NICE craftsman router 1/2in collet 2.5+ hp fixed into my table saw. it bit the dust long before my cheap ryobi, which keeps running like a champ. i have profiled every core with it. the plunge base is a bit much for ski building cant reall...

i will echo what everyone else has said, not having a router, planer and band saw is going to be an issue for you. but i will happily make you any core you want.

spend some time on the internet and call around i found a guy i utah who is amazing at making molds. i send him a drawing and go pic up my ne mold template later that day for like 20 bucks and half the time he doesnt even charge me. i would recommend finding a sign making shop he has a cnc router.

i was having a similar issue, after many ideas i thought would solve the problem and trying all the tips from the guys on here i finally called entropy and we decided it was most likely an improper cure for the epoxy. my recomendation is to leave the layup in the press for another 20min past what u ...
