update

Also I almost forgot, at 4-6bar so far we haven't had any deflection. So as of yet there's no modifications needed to be made to the press :) And also we have a few plans to modify the press. In the future we plan to add pneumatic's and remove the airbag so there is more space to put everything in. ...

Don't need silicone, if you do your hose right. Lol yes I know that but i was being extra careful because i didn't want to open up the hose again if I stuffed it up. Luckily it worked sweet and i took it up to 3 bar then up to 5 and it held fine :) Also just to hopefully make everyone here a little...

BEERS!! and an update

I also defiantly owe all you guys beers as well. So another update, I’ve gotten most of the fittings for the airbag. I'm pretty much copying head monkeys design on this. It seems like most people are designing them like this so there’s no point in reinventing the wheel :) Ive also been working a bit...

Compressor/bladder time

So, I have been trying to find the right valves to go from the compressor to the airbag/bladder for the press. So far I've got the compressor going to the 1/4" pipe to a ball valve then to a pressure measure thingy... :) then to a "t" junction. From there it goes to some more 1/4"...

Yea im considering atm how to do the center support without having those average looking threads and angle iron...

So the steel arrived this morning. 2*8 meter lengths of 125*125mm steel square pipe sections. So the next step is to actually get a grinder and cut them up. Im thinking 3*2.2m lengths side by side for the top and bottem and then 2 or 3 375mm pieces for the sides giving around eitha 250 or 375mm clea...
