I think this is the fun part of building skis, experimenting with these many different variables...where apex of camber is located, camber height, running length, radius, tip/tail rise, boot length, where to mount bindings whether alpine or tele, etc etc...all inter-related and probably dependent on...

Thanks OAC & RA. My bro works at a local shop whose jigs we use to mount our skis, unfortunately they dont have a grinder though. I couldnt resist a shot of our homegrowns against the wall of mass produced skis.

These have 2-12-2 hickory and poplar cores, with maple sidewalls. Love this Grateful Dead topsheet. i blew this image up in photoshop, added the blue gradient, Coda did the rest. Thanks guys, i ordered the glass from raka, at the time they were out of 12oz bi so i went with the 9oz...the skis are still lighter than i expected (core profile is 2-12-2, for both of those pairs). No pigment, might be just against the burlap, although this was using entropy which does have an amb...
