vert laminated cores with carbon fiber are the bomb.

I was able to hold a laminated balsa and carbon piece of 'lumber' awhile back. I can't remember the name off the top of my head but it was insanely light. And extremely responsive.

I'm currently using a Rigid shopvac. I'm going to try to secure a few household vacuume cleaners to take apart and try however so I can get some more hold down. The rigid works rather well. Every once in awhile my bit will pull up a core on the finishing path near the tips. I started using thing 3m ...

This seems like a lot of extra work?

I just set my template on the table. Set the cut base on that with the snow side up. This way I can see that the edge gap is good and start gluing.

I use my collector for everything so it's mixed with plastic and fiber glass and other stuff that doesn't compost or belong in gardens. Unfortunately I have to toss it. :(

Yea I thought I had written I still need to cut the flute for the brush but I guess not! Maybe I hit my head a little hard in that fall last week haha Yea Just the couple pieces I cut San's dust guard made a massive mess. I JUST cleaned the shop out too! I have some strip brush, 3 inch, that ...

Been a bit busy as of late. Wanted to share. I finally picked up a real dust collector (HF, nothing fancy) to help control some of the dust in the garage. Works well, only now I need to upgrade my dust shoe. Instead of spending $140 for the Kent shoe (worth it, I know) I decided to make my own for a...

Seems like its a worthy investment for the price. Can you speak at all to the software you received with the unit?
No software. Just a disc with an install video and pdf instruction booklet.

I always cover the larger areas of open holes with a thicker plastic foil (ie cut up some garbage bags) and the smaller sections get covered with packing tape. Yea, I've been using poly sheet I keep under the tape. I never thought of packing tape. Good idea! I need to resurface my table pretty bad ...

I haven't revisited this yet.

However I am on the hunt for house vacs like you said Chris.

I'm going to try adding some extra holes under where I usually place my ski cores And then cover with tape. I never thought of doing that before... Good idea!

So much I want to try before the snow is gone!
