So, now that we're back up and running. My new skis are most satisfactory! Like I said in a previous post, they are about the stiffness of Volkl codes. Stif to med stiff. They grip the race course/ ice very well. The Titanal makes them super damp. The carbon gives them some pop at the end of the tur...

Believe it or not an entire millimeter anywhere on your core makes a lot of difference. I have taken big swings at core thickness before and wasn't happy with the result. I use a router bridge, and had some probs with sidewall failure. It was always at the end when I had a failure. I tried everything, finally tried west system G-flex. Works every time. Kind of expensive but when you consider the amount of time involved with getting a core to that point, not so much. ...
