Shipping from AK would be disastrously expensive. Unless you can pick it up with a truck, your better off getting the materials yourself and having it welded by a buddy, or making the mistake of bolting it together (myself included on that one). 907- Try craigslist or put up a bulletin at World cup....

Ive been playing around with using 9oz biax glass and 3 inch uniaxial 6 oz carbon tape on bottom only. Makes a really light ski, definitely feels different though. Since the top doesnt have the 0 degree reinforcement, it tends to feel less snappy, but for a light touring ski, it has worked great so ...

I've been using bamboo flooring in my skis lately. you have to join two pieces together, but I paid just under 200$ for enough flooring for 6 pairs of skis, so ~33$ per pair. Not bad really. As the above poster mentions though, it is some pretty tough stuff. It will definitely dull your planer knive...

I'm new on here, but was hoping someone could help me out a bit. I'm having a terrible time locating 6" diameter hose online. I can find 5" stuff, but since I'm mostly making wide skis I want as big of hose as I can get. Does anyone have a hook up, or knows where to get some? I really appr...
