material suppliers
So I contacted CDW and asking how much they charge for their edges. I talked to Mark there and he said that the minimum order they make is a 500 pound spool and they charge $425 a pound. Thats $212,500! For some reason I find that hard to believe that they only do that size of order. I forgot to ask...

haha true stuff. Thanks, I am just trying to weigh my options. I see that there is a difference in the sheath of the thermocouple...the cheapest 5SRTC has a glass braid insulation, the second is PFA, and the third is kapton. Does any of that matter? I dont want a glass insulation to crush since we a...

It all depends on what kind of press you are looking to make. If you are planning on making a lot of boards then you are probably going to want a pneumatic board press which can be pretty pricey. If not, then another option is a vacuume press. If you want to make boards that will last awhile then it...

ok, so to get it right... you have the board/ski then on top you put the aluminum, then the thermocouple on top of that, then heat blanket, cat track etc? correct? those kind of thermocouples dont look like they would read correctly due to the fact of not laying flat. the 2 prongs would sit between ...
