yeah man especially if it's a metal I-beam pneumatic press. I don't know for sure but I would imagine shipping would be almost the cost of what it would be to build your own (depending on how far your shipping it of course).

has anyone used flag material? i believe they are made out of polyester but to the best of my knowledge, polyester shrinks when heated up and can melt.

snowboard printing material

hey guys what kind of cotton fabric should i use to print my graphics on. It is best to use cotton correct? how tight of a weave is needed or best? I know that the tighter the better graphics will come about it but then too tight and the epoxy wont soak through properly right?

anyone to join heat blanket order?

I am placing an order for 2 heat blankets 15"x80" 110v from MEI quoted and was wondering if anyone wanted to save some money. I need to order it by the end of the week. I'm always down to save some money. Preferably someone who lives in the Denver, CO area so we could meet up and pay.

Compensation for tip & tail lengh

I am ordering my MEI heat blanket tomorrow. I am thinking about 2 72"x15" blankets so that i could build a 172cm board but i just have one question. Say a 172 board would be 172 after pressed to shape right? so how many cm (ish) do you need to comensate for the curvature of the tip and tai...

Also, please explain this equation to me! y=(PL^3)/3EI it seems like im the only one still on here from the U.S. hehe but from my understanding, that equation helps estimate how the flex in your ski/snowboard will be before you make it? I could see the advantage to that! You would be able to tweak t...

Ok, I have a dumb question. It all makes sense to me except for a few little things. I like the 5 number system, however, how do you arrive at those numbers for each measurment. What is the scale? What does SFI stand for? Thirdly, do I understand correctly that you put the ski on a flat bench or wha...

What kind of press are you planning on using? The resin should hold the camber that is set within the press.

I know this topic is old but I was doing research on the topic and have a question. I am not too familiar with skis but my concern is with snowboards. Do some skis have a differnt flex pattern in the front than say in the back. From those graphs, they look like they are pretty close to being identic...

so basically you can print onto fabric w/ any size of printer? would any cotton work or do you need special tight woven fabric? i would imagine that would look better the tighter the weave.

bindings

I know that this is mostly a ski forum but i was wondering if any of you guys knew of a place to buy bindings that you could semi-customize and even possibly buy in bulk if needed. Im sure large companies like burton, volcom, forum etc. dont make their own bindings. I just didnt know if anyone would...

thats really cool. i wish i had friends that could do that for me for cheap. so what is the process called? not screen printing, not sublimination, just basically go to a place and ask if they can print onto cotton? would that be expensive if i were to go into a place w/ a graphic?
