Hi Tim
Do you want to give a plug to your guys? Dajavu in Essondon are OK but they are belt only.

I've used with band saws and so long as the edge is relatively straight I can't see why it wouldn't work.

Hi. I have always done exactly what you are suggesting - follow the outer contour of the board towards the centre and climb cut so that the rotation of the cutter is in effect 'pushing' the edges onto the core. I have been using Alphacam to do the toolpaths and when the post processor is working OK ...

The other thing is the versatility of the product. The Derakane 8084 is the base but the end user is able to mix their own masterbatch with various additives (initiators, promoters, accelerators, retarders, UV protection, surfactants (better wetout) antifoam agents(less bubbles), etc. giving control...

Hi. I was quoted $18 per kilo for 'promoted' resin plus catalyst at $20 per 500ml plus GST of 10%. This was for a 4 kg quantity. That's from Springvale in Melbourne, Austraila. postage to North America is extra ;)
That works out a bit cheaper than other epoxies I've used but not much.

Hi : Titebond works great...and those clamps? They work 100% better if you turn them horizontally. Those clamps were the closest thing to hand for a poorly prepared glue up  So I had a board underneath and the clamps like in the photos to stop the bar bending and a few spring clamps along the ...

Hi. Nice job! I love the look of that trimmer as well....Much sexier than the Makita ones. Also here's a couple of photos of my "Edgesand 2007" set up..It's an old Bosch belt sander that has a couple of captured nuts in the top of a nice square casing so it's really easy to mount on a timb...

Hi Tim
Just wondered if there was any problems with the euphemistic "cassette" sticking to the ski after pressing. C.
