Why not make the hollow mold with the fibreglass and fill it with SAND and close it off with a wooden board of some kind. It's pretty cheap and you can poor out the sand afterwards to use in another mold...

Good point about the lengthwise shifting by the cattrack. This is definately something we need to have a good look at.

How large is your bladder? I think this really defines which option is best.

what kind of bamboo material are you using? There are many different kinds of bamboo boards when looking at how the bamboo fibres are aligned.

Have just started an intensive training scheme (Weight training and cardio) to get my knee up and ready for the next winter. Need to get my left leg in shape after my ACL reconstruction last may. Have hardly been able to do any training the previous two months while doing an internship in madagascar...

That makes me wonder what the difference is for Worldcup race skis... Any chance you can get hold of a pair of those to use your fancy gear on?

Maybe it is a good idea to have a good look at WC race skis in general as they should be completely optimized for ferfect carving arcs...

That looks sweet!

In the pictures where you can see the difference in tips compared to the other one, yours is way "longer". did you do that on purpose? why?

Pretty jealous... i was in austria in the same week, but couldn't ski because of a knee injury... extremely frustrating!
