Thu Sep 27, 2012 7:06 pm MBsnow wrote I paid $4900.00 for a CNC from Mike 2 years ago and have yet to take delivery or get a full refund. If you think I am kidding I will send you the pay pal receipt. He would not answer my phone calls and changed his email. So be careful guys. Sun Oct 21, 2012 2:2...

Yes. Through a number of stupid business mistakes, mismanagement, and unforeseen outside forces in the world’s economy; MBsnow’s initial claim is correct. I will not layout a sob story but just say that I am desperately trying to claw my way out of some of the worst series of events I have ever been...

Woo Hoo! As of yesterday all 3 machines being built in this first batch are claimed. And for the first time one of them will actually stay here in my shop with me :)

Thanks to all for the comments and questions. I will be posting more info and such as we get farther along.

Yeah that option is in the price list. Total $4590 for a 4x8 unit with electronics (control box, motors, home switches, etc) and a Mach 3 license. All you would need is a table to mount it to and a router. Well besides a computer and CAD/CAM software(s) which can all be found quite reasonably. PM me...

yes it is a UHMW linear slide bearing system designed with close tolerance that actually shovels dust off of the rails in front of and behind with travel. As far as replacing; its a matter of ordering new slide blocks and attaching them with the on hand hardware if needed. There are also wear compen...

@ Twizz; The stock Z is 6" without the spoilboard. The rails can be shimmed up off the table surface an inch with T-Slot blocks to give 7" of pre-spoilboard travel without needing to install a longer leadscrew. If more hieght is still needed a longer leadscrew is available. In both cases o...

CNC Update (finally)

I have been in contact with quite a few members on here over the past several months, about when the new CNC machines will be ready for production. I am happy to say that the first batch of the new systems is being produced now and will be ready to ship late Sept/mid Oct. Only a handful are being ma...

Sidewall Plastics from the store here

How do everyone? Can anyone tell me if the sidewall sheets sold here at the store are flame treated on one side? A core client of ours bought some wide sheets for their ski cores and I am getting ready to attach them. The plastic sheets look the same as any we have gotten from Crown which come flame...

Mechanical drive on these.... 20pitch/20p. angle gear racks and spur gears on both X and Y axis and ultra-smooth, precision leadscreww for the Z. The Z screw is 8:1 ratio and uses a nicely made antiback lash nut. Huge steps up from the older models. Also a step up is the electronics. We have a more ...

Couple of new pics....... Made some small improvements to the Z axis and router mounts. Also beefed up the X axis drive legs and gave them better belt covers. And last we added a set of legs too. It all still fits inside of itself for shipping..... http://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n406/wednesdaysk...

Selling off NOS CNC components/electronics

I know this is skibuilders but hoping to still put the word out. We have several items of interest to folks looking to build thier own CNC machine. Enough to more than get one started anyway.... At the very same time we desperately need a Milling Machine for the shop. Cash on hand for a new machine ...

Thanks for the comments fellas, I appreciate it. Did some checking with my shipping broker and managed to get a couple of rough quotes for shipping over the pond and down under. Without too much to go on I asked for "Port Pickup" for both Spain and Austrailia. Gave the town names for each ...

Ok, finally managed to get some pictures of the machine finished and being packed up........ Here it is all tucked inside itself neatly. http://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n406/wednesdayskateboards/100_0603.jpg After the contents are unpacked, the box unfolds into the table frame itself. Here it is ...
