Pulling this one out of the depths of oblivion, but is there any way we could still get these questions answered?

Yeah, I got some of that stuff from snowboardmaterials a while back and both sides bond to stuff no problem (which was a pain in the ass when i used it as base material cause tape wouldnt stick to it to protect it, but epoxy would). Ought to be perfect as tip and tial spacer. I imagine it would work...

Just remember that only one side of ptex base material has been abraded/treated so you'd need to abrade/treat the other side to bond to the surrounding layers.

I've been using 1/8" Masonite on top of my molds (that've been designed with 3/4" ribs and consequently 3/4" gaps) and its stiff enough to eliminate any significant waviness or concavity in the base, but it always cracks on me when I try and bend it in the tip and tail sections. In th...
