Re: Tons of CDW edge material
That was fast, most of the spool is spoken for, but should have a few rolls worth of material left. Please include zip / postal code in your email, and I'll get shipping estimate, but 1 roll seems to be coming in around $30USD for ship to Northwest, $40 to Northeast US. Add ~40% to shipping cost to ...

Scratch the DMs (and apologies to anyone who's messaged me and I never replied); inbox is full and trying to delete messages just keeps returning an error.

Re: Tons of CDW edge material
Alright, please dm me if you'd like a smaller roll. ~5kg / 11lb should be about 100m. Preference is to do mostly this size, but let me know if you want something else. $50 + ship (aka $0.50 / m). Venmo, Paypal, or Interac e-transfer. Shipping from Nelson, BC. Coil is about 21" diameter by 4&quo...

Apologies for the lack of responses.
Decided to donate the press to a highschool program in the Kootenays.

Re: Tons of CDW edge material
Awesome will let you know.
Talking to a few of the bigger local companies in BC, but I like the 10lb roll idea.

Tons of CDW edge material UPDATE: ALL GONE
Bought a roll of primed CDW profile 129 edge for use with 1.4mm (0.055") base, and not going to use anywhere near all of it. ~1,200m left. The spool it's on is 3' in diameter by about 12" wide. Total weight of edge plus the wooden spool is about 80kg / 180lbs. Preference is to sell the ent...

Kingswood-style heated press - Vancouver, BC
Selling a Kingswood Skis-style press (steel box tube with vertical supports along the sides). Has worked beautifully for past 8 years, but I'm closing up shop, at least for a bit, so need to find a new home for this. Uses a double-wide discharge hose bladder, and has 1" aluminum cat track. Top ...

just played around a little with screening and inlay. Pretty happy with the results. Been wanting to try gold leaf. Have also used vinyl die cuts. In photos below, inlay was done before pressing, of course, screen was done after they came out of the press. Gave a serious wipe down with methyl hydrat...

Edge Material Group Buy
Wondering if anyone would be interested in a group buy of some edge material from CDW. Would be looking to split up a 300lb roll of the 1.33mm material (I believe it's profile 29, but can't remember for sure off-hand). I'm looking for 35-50lbs. We're located in Vancouver, BC, but could split with fo...

Ya, those are promising. Issue I've had is finding a wide enough nozzle to get good flow, as well as the ratio, as you mentioned. Typically the ratio is set within the nozzle itself and can't be tweaked. Also, how to push the material through? Pressurizing the material containers is the obvious choi...

I'm not huge on Fiber-Tek, but they can work in a pinch. I just find them expensive and they don't really have the weaves and weights that are best for skis. Soller does look awesome! Will probably grab some carbon from them. I bought a roll of the Vectorply ETLX2200 (triax 22oz e-glass) from Compos...

Genius indeed! Haven't been on here in a while, but had a quick search and didn't find anything: Anyone used a pour gun for sidewalls? Could pull the air out of both part a and b in separate pots, heat it somewhat and push the material through to a mixing tip. I know of some major manufacturers usin...

we're using fluorescent Nazdar ink on a clear Crown base, and it definitely loses a lot of it's vividness. sometimes the problem with the true neon pigmented base is that it comes out 'speckled'. this is why we're screening, because Crown wouldn't even make the colour we wanted... said that they hav...
