Pine is a good idea, i've done two fat ski (140 110 130) in 195cm lenth and they are very strong ( three layer of carbon under, two on the top and one steel sheet on the top too). For the side wall I put some carbon, I think it's necessary to put something to evitate water to enter in the core. Some...

I've made ski with no camber for a powder use and after 15-20 day of uses I obtain a reverse camber, I don't no why,
It's not due to the wood who want to come back to his first form because they have no camber.
So it's really good topic if somebody have an idea...
