Since the birth of Skibuilders.com, many Ideas have bounced around, and with these there have been creative new ideas and concepts to be tested and tried. There are some things that we now know to work well, as well as other ideas to stay away from. Could we somehow consolidate these universal truth...

Never Summer Carbonium Topsheet material?
Does anyone have any info on what the "Carbonium Topsheet" material is that Never Summer uses on their top-end snowboards? It looks like really good topsheet material...

Goode Carbon Fiber Ski for sale
I picked up a pair of Goode skis and would be willing to part with them if anyone is interested. shoot me a pm. Good says they are 183cm, but I think they are more like 185. Dimensions, 120-91-102. Has G3 binding but I can't get one of the cartriges to spin for adjustment. It's rusted. It is an olde...

I agree that your core profile/thickness and materials is the most important. However, all the sources that I have seen say that carbon fiber is stong in tension, and worthless in compression.
