good initiative to this thread. Maybe the information here could be usefull to other then swedes. Kompsitfabriken-epoxy is cheaper then anything else i've seen in europe. I've tested it once and i was pretty satified with the results so i made a big order to get the price down even more. I will come...

I'm having a sidecut problem aswell. I used 100% tipspacer in a pair and it worked fine! The old bro-cores that i got from u idris. No hinge effect there. it had a normal shaped tip so i guess its diffeent w long rocker tips. I think its a good way to go if u wanna use tipspacer, it makes it so easy laying up and easier to profile the ...

I wanna press a pair of skis before winter comes and i have loads of leftover materials but i only have 3 steel edges... I dont want to order just one edge from germany.

Before I started profiling with a planer I had the same problem as u. To prevent the core from rising up to the router I ended up with a method that worked for me. I made it in 2 stages, first i shaved off half of it, then i taped it down to the table with double sided tape. this will hold the core ...

I made my latest snowboard with a wood veneer as a topsheet and im pretty sure it added stiffnes... it came out super stiff!! havent tried it yet but my feeling is it will be almost inpossible to turn.... the veneer was 1.3mm thick so next time i'll try to get hold of thinner veneer and make the cor...

Cool! I hope they'll hold together let us know when u tried them. Any idees how to make the top white? my first idee was to take a white fabric and print on but as the fabric will wet out and go transperant thats out of the pic. what about paper? i guess it will go see-thru also... the only option s...

Bringing up an old thred ... Did anyone try the iron-on tranfers on skis? Do u guys put vds strips all the way round the edge or just the running length? (if u do a full wrap edge, will say)
I've seen people doin both ways, is there a reason not to put it in the tips or is it just for saving time/material?
