Pre-cured Fiberglass
I have heard a lot about people using pre-cured, pre-tensioned sheets of fiberglass in snowboard layups. I am having a very hard time finding a source for these. Does anyone know where one might find these? Preferably in Canada but all suggestions are welcome.

Ideal Pressure for Hydraulic Press
I have read many posts where users recommend somewhere between 50-80 psi in vaccum or air presses. I am wondering what the ideal pressure is in a hydraulic press. Do the same forces apply?

Re: White spots showing through base material.
Hydraulic cold press. Could be a couple of things then. Your pressure might not be even enough (it's hard to get mold surfaces even and matching perfectly) - to mitigate this, you could use a thin layer of soft material (silicone foam sheets work well as epoxy doesn't stick to them) in the press on...

Re: White spots showing through base material.
yeah I agree with chrismp - in addition to his question - are you providing a way to "bleed" excess epoxy? think of how a typical ski squeezes excess expoxy out the sides when pressed - these could also be epoxy pockets from excess having nowhere to go. Lots of epoxy squeezes out the side...

White spots showing through base material.
I'm working on a project laminating white UHMW to maple veneer and I have pressed many successful ones in past years however this year I have had several come out of the press with white spots visible through the base. I can't seem to determine what the issue is. I have tried more epoxy, less epoxy....
