COMMENTS:
This is the first pair of skis that came out of the
press that Kelvin and I built. The design is a simple, directional twin-tip. The skis
also feature an asymmetrical design with the inside sidecut using a 25m turning radius and the outer
sidecut using a 21m radius. The core consists of three types of wood: maple, cherry (Jatoba)
and birch. The skis have wood sidewalls, primarily because it was easy to make, but to
ensure that water does not damage or rots the core, we applied a coat of wood sealant
